Our Rates (Private Pay)
- Starting at $40/hour – Weekdays
- Starting at $42/hour – Weekends & Overnights
Our Minimum Care Commitment
To ensure consistency, quality, and caregiver continuity, Sunland Home Care requires a minimum of either:
- Two 4-hour shifts per week (8 total hours), or
- One 8-hour shift per week

At Sunland Home Care, our goal is to provide consistent, reliable, and relationship-based care—not rushed or fragmented support.
Requiring a minimum of two 4-hour shifts per week (8 total hours) allows us to:
- Assign caregivers who can build familiarity and trust with your loved one
- Reduce caregiver turnover and last-minute scheduling disruptions
- Provide unrushed, meaningful care that supports safety and dignity
- Maintain consistent routines, which is especially important for seniors living with memory loss or complex health needs
This structure helps us deliver the level of care families expect and deserve while ensuring caregivers can show up fully present and prepared.

Your care includes a dedicated local team and a secure, HIPAA-compliant family portal where authorized family members can:
- View the schedule
- Review billing information
- Read care notes after each shift
- Review the care plan and ADLs supported each visit
- Message our team securely
- 24/7 on call support
Long-Term Care Insurance Support
Have long-term care insurance? We can help you understand the claim process and provide the documentation your insurance company may require for reimbursement.
Sunland Home Care may not be the right fit if:
- You are looking for 1–2 hour shifts
- You need one-time care
- You are seeking to have services paid for by ALTCS, Medicare or major medical insurance.

From the first call to set up service Sunland Home Care has provided nothing but top-notch service. Set up caregivers for my mom as post-hospital care and the service and staff were amazing. Met with the owner Traci, and it seems great service trickles down. They were able to start service at the last minute and were extremely accommodating. Traci was also helpful with referring various other services for my aging parents such as maid service and medication management. While we will continue to use their service going forward, I would not hesitate in the slightest to recommend them to friends and family.
