Terms & Conditions

Sunland Home Care, LLC

These Terms & Conditions are provided for informational purposes only to help individuals and families understand how services are delivered by Sunland Home Care. All services are provided pursuant to a written and signed Service Agreement between Sunland Home Care and the Client and/or Responsible Party.


Nature of Services

Sunland Home Care provides non‑medical, in‑home care services. Services may include companionship, assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), medication reminders (non‑administrative), meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, transportation (if authorized), and other supportive services.

Sunland Home Care does not provide medical care, nursing services, therapy, or any services requiring professional healthcare licensure.


Care Planning & Scheduling

Services are tailored to the individual needs of each Client and are scheduled based on caregiver availability and safety considerations. Specific days, times, and frequency of care may change as care needs evolve.

Schedules are coordinated separately and are not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.


Payment & Billing

Sunland Home Care services are provided on a private‑pay basis.
Sunland Home Care does not bill insurance.

Rates, deposits, billing cycles, payment methods, late fees, and other financial terms are outlined in the signed Service Agreement. Clients remain responsible for payment of all services provided in accordance with that agreement.


Client & Responsible Party Responsibilities

Clients and Responsible Parties are expected to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information regarding care needs
  • Maintain a safe working environment
  • Communicate scheduling changes through the Sunland Home Care office
  • Comply with the terms of the Service Agreement

Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in modification or discontinuation of services.


Safety & Service Modifications

Sunland Home Care reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue services if:

  • Safety concerns arise
  • Care needs exceed the scope of non‑medical services
  • The service environment becomes unsafe or non‑compliant with applicable laws

Sunland Home Care is not a HIPAA‑covered entity. However, we are committed to protecting client privacy and maintaining high standards for safeguarding personal information. Sunland Home Care voluntarily follows HIPAA‑aligned privacy principles and complies with applicable Arizona privacy laws.

Additional details regarding privacy practices are provided in the Notice of Privacy Practices included with the signed Service Agreement.


Governing Service Agreement

These Terms & Conditions do not create a contractual relationship. Services are provided only under a fully executed Service Agreement and related exhibits.
