Mandy McConahay, LMSW

Mandy is a dedicated social worker, spending much of her professional life supporting seniors and their families through the complexities of aging. A proud graduate of Arizona State University with both a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and a Master of Social Work (MSW), Mandy is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). Mandy also holds a Graduate Certificate in Gerontology from the University of Arizona and a Certificate in Supervisory Leaders in Aging from the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).  Mandy is a member of the Dementia Task Force of Mesa and represents Sunland Home Care in dementia-related training for our clients, caregivers, and the community.  Throughout her career, Mandy has built a reputation as a trusted social worker specializing in connecting individuals to vital resources, educating them on disease processes, providing emotional support to individuals and families, facilitating support groups, advocating for senior rights, and assisting with advanced care planning. With expert care coordination and a compassionate approach. Mandy offers invaluable guidance and support through the aging journey.

What’s a fun fact about yourself? I love races, especially those with a cause. From 5K’s to triathlons to Spartan to Ragnar races. I love the inspiration felt around the events.

Do you have any pets? I have 2 goofy dogs, Chuck and Ruthie, and a cat, Coco, who is the queen of the house.

What is a hobby outside of work? Spending time with my family, fitness, music, and anything outdoors.
